From sign-up to first scheduled production plan in about 10 minutes.
Sign up at aps4mfg.com/signup with your work email. Choose an organisation name — this is shown in the app and used when contacting Odoo. No credit card required.
The connector is a free Odoo module that exposes manufacturing data through a secure API. Install it from the Odoo App Store for your Odoo version:
See the Odoo connector page for full setup instructions.
In APS, open Settings → Odoo Connection. You'll need three things:
https://yourcompany.odoo.com (no trailing slash)yourco/web/database/manager to see the list?db=nameAlso pick the production facility's timezone in the Organization tab — APS uses it to render working hours correctly on the Gantt.
The first sync is manual. In Settings, click Run Full Sync — APS pulls manufacturing orders, work centers, calendars, BOMs and inventory from Odoo. Large databases can take a few minutes the first time.
Once that's done, enable Auto-sync with an interval (min 15 min, default 60 min). APS then runs incremental syncs in the background, only fetching records that changed.
APS Connector module is installed. The Live dataset is a read-only mirror of Odoo — you can't schedule against it directly. To plan, you create a scenario (a working copy of Live).
See Datasets & scenarios for the full workflow.
With your scenario active, click Schedule in the top bar to open the Run Scheduler modal. Leave the defaults (Forward, Priority, freeze 1 day), click Preview, then Apply. APS positions every manufacturing order against its work-center calendar inside the scenario — Live is untouched.
Drag operations on the Gantt to override, lock individual ops, or open the scheduler again with different options. When you're happy, click Publish in the top bar — this writes the scenario's schedule back to the matching MOs in Odoo.
